How Game Of Thrones Should Have Ended

"Just as the executioner began to raise his blade Ned Stark's mind went blank. Dying in front of his children-- not the way he imagined meeting death. Ned Stark heard the sword being swung backwards and his throat clenched unable to breathe or swallow. Quickly the sword sliced forward on an unescapable path towards Ned's skull. Siiiike it was totally escapable Tyrion Lannister was there to knock that shit away. Ned Stark lives on and kills that bratty king bitch. Dragon Babe comes along and is awesome. End of Season 1."

  4. It...kind of made sense. Was he that politically inept in the book? Every situation that he royally screwed up for "honor" and "mercy" could have been solved with creative thinking on his part. But instead he took the easy way through everything. Find some wolve pups? Kill them. Some guy talking about white walkers? He's a traitor. Run into jaime. He's the kingslayer, insult him. Worried about your family getting involved in a power struggle? Divulge all your plans to the woman at the helm of it. It just goes on and on. As good a person as he was, they make him come across as an idiot who messes up everything he touches

  5. hmmm never thought of ned like that... but you're right he always seemed to make the decision that made things harder rather than easier. If only he had trained an army of direwolf puppies to defend him he would still be alive.
